Diane Ruskell and Poppy

Diane Ruskell BSc (Econ) FCA

Diane Ruskell founded Ruskells Chartered Accountants in August 1997. Since then she has grown the business from just thirty clients to over 400.

Diane is a tax and practice development specialist. She served her Tax Articles and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co with whom she worked until 1989. She then joined Brett Jenkins & Partners as Tax Manager of their Marlow Office.

On the demerger of Brett Jenkins & Partners, and the establishment of Brewer Clark, she became Brewer Clark’s Tax Partner. She was an equity Partner there for five years until August 1997 when she left to form her own Practice.

Diane is an Accounting honours graduate of University College Cardiff, where she won departmental and faculty prizes for outstanding academic performance in each year of her studies.

In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and also enjoys yoga and swimming.

 

Rosalind Gillett FCA

Rosalind joined us in November 2002.
She has held a number of positions
in practice, industry and education
since qualifying with a small London
firm as a Chartered Accountant in 1983.

Rosalind’s background is invaluable
with regard to the expertise we are
able to provide small and large
businesses alike. As chief number-
cruncher she is responsible for the
production of annual accounts
and oversees the book-keeping, VAT
and payroll processing. She has a great
sense of humour and is good at making cakes.

Karen Anderson FCA

Karen joined the company in
October 2015. She qualified
as a Chartered Accountant with
KPMG and she has most recently
run her own practice.

Karen’s duties at Ruskells
include bookkeeping, VAT
returns, management
and statutory accounts.

In her spare time she.
enjoys dog walking with
her two small boys.

 

Carolyn Austin FCA

Carolyn joined us in February 2011.
She is an Accounting honours
graduate of Liverpool University
and qualified as a Chartered
Accountant with Ernst & Young
in 1990, working in Business
Services.

She later worked in Group
Accounting for a
multinational company and
has also worked in education
and the construction
industry. Carolyn’s duties at
Ruskells include bookkeeping,
VAT returns and management
accounts. In her spare time she
enjoys walking up mountains
and gazing at stars.

Ildiko Wardle FCCA

Ildiko joined us in June 2009.
She qualified as FCCA in 2004 and
has since worked in practice as well
as in industry. Ildiko’s duties involve
bookkeeping, VAT returns,
management accounts and payroll.
She has in depth experience with
various Sage accounting software.

In her spare time Ildiko enjoys
ice-skating with her children and
eating the cakes that Ros bakes.

 

 

 

 

Alison Taylor Diane's PA

Alison joined us in 2010 and runs the
secretarial and administrative aspects
of the business as well as assisting
Diane with clients’ tax affairs.
She is trained in the use of
personal tax software and also
has extensive experience of using
Microsoft Office and all its
components.

On many occasions Alison will be
your first point of contact with our
business. She is extremely friendly,
approachable and very happy to
help with any queries you may have.

Helen Ashworth Payroll

Helen started with us in 2014.
She is responsible for all aspects
of payroll and auto-enrolment
administration. Prior to
joining us she qualified as
an accounting technician
(AAT) whilst raising three
boys.

Helen lives near Henley
& enjoys cooking & skiing.

 

 

 

Jane Elkins Company
Secretarial and Bookkeeping

Jane joined us in July 2015
and looks after the company
secretarial work.

She has previously worked
for Lloyds Bank as a
Commercial Manager in
Marlow. She then moved on to
the Insolvency department at
Price Waterhouse Coopers
and has had experience in
Treasury Management at Oxfam.
Her most recent position was as the Finance Director at Amersham School.

Her hobbies include horse riding, yoga and walking.

Tamie Milne Bookkeeping

Tamie joined the company in March
2015. Her roles include bookkeeping
and submission of VAT returns for
company clients.

Tamie also works for her
husband’s company, doing the
accounts and invoicing. She
enjoys reading and taking care
of her three sons.



 

 

 

Sue Robertson Administrative Assistant

Sue has worked part-time
at Ibstone CE School as an office
manager and bursar.

Sue has primary responsibility
for filing and also assists Alison
in the running of the office. She
enjoys live music, dog walking
and baking.
